In March, 2024, Pastor and Sister Riggen spent an extended time in South Africa. During that trip, Missionary Jessie Stewart and family, in conjunction with A2Z Missions, hosted three conferences in the span of two weeks. The first was in the country of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) where there is already a great representation of men who accepted the truth in previous conferences. The second was in Johannesburg at the site of our new headquarters location. (We’ll say more about that momentarily.) The third conference was held in the city of Ganyesa, in the northwest province of South Africa. It was the result of the conference which had taken place in Johannesburg in October, 2023. From those meetings over 50 people responded to the gospel and were baptized in the name of Jesus.
During the third meeting, we saw God do some marvelous things. The city was experiencing a tremendous political upheaval during our time there. While we were in one part of the building hosting a conference for pastors, the political peace talks were taking place in another part of the venue. Despite the volatile situation, God moved in that meeting and many souls were baptized in the name of Jesus. Also during that meeting, a political leader who had a hearing problem came up to the window outside of the meeting hall so that he could better hear. God responded to his hunger and caused a large tumor to fall out of his ear while he was listening. God had healed him instantly!

In our last newsletter, we mentioned that after a search which has been underway for two years, we had been presented with the opportunity to purchase a headquarters property in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are excited to announce that the purchase of our new facility is complete. After a brief remodel (which, as the picture below shows, has already begun), this new property will be a headquarters church and a ministry training grounds. Thank you all for your prayers and support. This is a tremendous milestone for the work here and would not be possible without you!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support for this endeavor. Doors continue to open for A2Z Missions. In August, 2024, we will be returning for a second trip. Just a few months later, we will go back for yet another conference, this time returning to Zimbabwe for the first time in many years.
Due to the COVID shutdowns and our inability to travel to Africa for a few years, our support has dropped off drastically. Your contribution at this time will be greatly appreciated. We must work while it is day, for the night is coming when no man can work!
