REVIVAL IN BOTSWANA!
On Thursday, October 2, the A2Z Missions Team began a three-day doctrinal seminar in the city of Gaborone, Botswana. On this trip, the team consisted of Pastor and Sister Daniel Stephens, Elder Bill Fleming, Pastor Rod Foster, and Pastor and Sister Greg Riggen from the USA, as well as Bishop Phillip Ngota Aston from Kenya.
Early Friday morning, Pastor Riggen received word that his father had passed away. When the team met for breakfast, it was decided that Pastor Riggen would spend the day teaching doctrine before having to fly back to America on Saturday. The crowd was much larger the second day, and the glory of God was phenomenal. Revelation of Jesus’ Name baptism swept the crowd that morning, and the power of the Holy Ghost exploded upon them!
After lunch, Pastor Riggen took time for questions and answers. During the break, two men had joined the crowd who had come for the purpose of bringing confusion. They stood to ask “questions,” which were actually attempts to contradict what had been taught. However, something very beautiful took place — the people who had just received the revelation answered the questions and shut the mouths of the gainsayers!
Next, Pastor Riggen taught on the Oneness of God and, once again, revelation hit the audience with tremendous impact. God’s Spirit descended upon them as they accepted the message with great joy!
That evening, 24 pastors, wives, and leaders were baptized in Jesus’ name! Among them was a well- known television personality who went home only long enough to get some clothes — AND his wife! Both of them received the Holy Ghost in the water as they were baptized! Also in that number was the president and secretary of the Pentecostal Ministers’ Fellowship from Francistown, Botswana. The two of them invited Pastor Riggen to their city to teach this glorious truth to their organization, promising to “pack the house with preachers” if he would come. That meeting is now scheduled for March, 2015!
The next day, while the rest of the team continued to teach on subjects such as prayer and separation, Pastor and Sister Riggen boarded a flight for the United States so he could bury his father. In spite of the difficulties, the conference was a huge success.

While Pastor Riggen was attending his father’s funeral, the rest of the team traveled to the city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe — about a nine hour drive from Gaborone. They were joined there by Elder and Sister David Smith. They began the conference in this city (a new area for the A2Z Team) on Wednesday, and God met with them in a wonderful way. There was a large crowd present, and the people were hungry for the Word of God.
Around noon on Thursday, Pastor and Sister Riggen arrived in Bulawayo. As soon as the lunch break had ended, Pastor Riggen began teaching on baptism. The people rejoiced as God opened their eyes to this truth! One very dignified pastor fell to his knees and sobbed in gratitude to God.
The next day, Pastor Riggen taught on the Godhead. The Lord’s presence fell upon that place as they came to understand the message of the Mighty God in Christ. That evening, 31 people were baptized in Jesus’ name (making the total for this trip 55)!
On Sunday, Pastor Riggen taught in the church pastored by the dignified man mentioned above. The entire congregation got the revelation and agreed to be baptized in Jesus’ name!
These are glorious times. Revival is sweeping Africa, and your donations are helping it go forward!
