A TRIP TO KENYA
In just a few weeks, we will once again travel to Africa. However, instead of just going to Zimbabwe, we will be traveling first to the country of Botswana. Pastor Simon Msandu (who was among our first converts in June of last year) is putting together a group of Trinitarian pastors and wives who are hungry to hear our Apostolic message. He has informed me that there will be a crowd of about 100 in attendance. Among those expected to be present is the head of a large Trinitarian organization that has churches all over Africa, as well as in Great Britain! Pastor Msandu just returned from Zambia, where he preached to this organization. He was asked to speak once, but ended up preaching a total of four times — always on the subject of the Oneness of God! The head of the organization is so hungry for more, he will be joining us for our doctrinal seminar in Botswana!
The week after we leave Botswana, we want to meet with some other hungry Trinitarians in the Bulawayo/Victoria Falls/Hwange region of Zimbabwe. Our leaders in that area have more than 200 Trinitarian pastors and wives planning to be present as we teach Apostolic doctrine there. Please pray for our endeavors in these two meetings. The potential for revival is staggering! Also, please consider helping to finance these meetings. They will cost us about $10,000 each. Your contribution will assist us in continuing to take the Light of God’s Truth to the Dark Continent of Africa.
August 27-29, 2014, was the annual conference held in Kenya, hosted by Bishop Phillip Aston. For the last two years, we have raised money to send the leaders of our Zimbabwe group to Bishop Aston’s meeting. We feel strongly that getting these men into a genuinely Apostolic atmosphere is one of the most beneficial things we can do outside of our direct teaching.
This year, I felt led to join our Zimbabwe brethren at Bishop Aston’s conference. I am glad I did!
The conference was powerful, and the favor of God was evident! There were overflow crowds as preachers and saints came from all across the continent of Africa.
Speakers for this meeting included Elder David Smith, Pastor Ted Erskine, Missionary Steve Wheeler, Elder Robert Cavaness, Pastor John Williamson, and Pastor Herron. Each of these men did an excellent job of delivering the Word of God. The response from the people was phenomenal. There is no doubt that lives were transformed. We commend Bishop Aston for his excellent work, and thank him for his kind hospitality!
