2014 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Elder B. Fleming Pastor D. Stephens Pastor P. Ogle Pastor G. Riggen
On June 3-5, 2014, we held our annual conference in Harare, Zimbabwe. It is hard to believe it has
been a year since our first trip in which we saw more than 50 Trinitarians baptized in the name of Jesus. We made plans last year to host an annual conference on the anniversary of this event, and those plans became reality.
The American Team this year was made up of Pastor Daniel Stephens (Mt. View, AR), Pastor Paul Ogle (Atchison, KS), Evangelist Bill Fleming (Colorado Springs, CO), and Pastor Greg Riggen (Olathe, Kansas). We were joined by Bishop Phillip Ngota Aston from Kenya (pictured at left).
God’s glory was present during each service. Five of the ministers who had been converted in previous conferences were invited to preach. They preached on some aspect of the Apostolic Doctrine — from the Oneness of God to Holiness and Separation! The saints rejoiced as their pastors declared these truths during the conference, just as they had been doing in the assemblies they oversee! Some received the Holy Ghost, some were delivered from demonic spirits, and all were strengthened in the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

Dear Brethren,
Christian greetings from Kenya.
I am pleased to report to you that our recent mission trip to Zimbabwe was very successful.
There was a great and wonderful spirit among the brethren. The teachings from our team (such as the brethren from USA and myself) was well received and a blessing.
I believe the Zimbabwean brethren have got a real revelation of the truth and that they are sincere in what they are doing. I believe God has set before us an open door.
The challenge facing the work in Zimbabwe is the need for more training in doctrinal subjects and leadership.
Thank you for supporting this noble cause.
Yours,
Bishop P. Ngota Aston
In October of 2013, I was privileged to go to Zimbabwe for a conference with Bro. Riggen. The reports from previous trips were exciting to hear and the possibilities we felt in prayer were encouraging.
About 300 ministers and wives gathered for the conference. Most of them would be considered trinitarian Pentecostal, believing in the infilling of the Holy Ghost but having no revelation of Oneness or of Jesus’ Name baptism. We went in the assurance that God was in this effort. Several elders had given us encouragement through prophetic words.
On the second day, Bro. Riggen started teaching on the Oneness of God. The presence of the Almighty descended into that room and revelation hit like a tidal wave! It was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. People got to their feet, rejoicing and “amening” the preacher! A room of darkness saw a great light and many were baptized!
I have seen these men and their churches embrace Oneness, Jesus’ Name baptism, and holiness. Even their members are testifying of the incredible presence of God they are seeing through their obedience to the revelation.
These people aren’t doing this for personal gain. In fact, a number of them have lost much to embrace this truth. An effectual door has been opened in Africa and we need to do all we can to walk through it. I encourage anyone considering supporting this endeavor to do so with full assurance and confidence. This is truly an amazing work of God!
Sincerely,
Pastor John E. Burgess
Please Consider Investing
in Zimbabwe! !
There are a number of needs right now which could use your help. Please prayerfully consider contributing to one or more of these endeavors in order to help us move forward with this great revival.
First, we are trying to raise enough money to send the leaders and their wives to Bishop Aston’s conference this August. This will cost about $650 per person. If you could adopt a leader — or a couple — it will help them to interact with an established Apostolic work, strengthening them in their newly accepted doctrine.
Also, we are trying desperately to reach other Trinitarian pastors who are hungry to hear the truth. We had hoped to meet a number of them in Botswana last month, but our finances would not allow us to do so. We are trying now to get to them the first week of October. The following week, we want to meet with some other hungry Trinitarians in the Bulawayo/Victoria Falls/ Hwange region of Zimbabwe. We don’t want to keep these men waiting. We must reach them w h i l e t h e y a r e h u n g r y . Anything you can give towards defraying the cost of these conferences (approximately $10,000 each) would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to invest in Zimbabwe, make your checks payable to New Life Pentecostal Church, 11995 S. Monticello Terrace, Olathe, KS 66061. You can also contribute through the I AM Foundation.
